10 Lost Tribes of Israel

Research on the Ten LOST Tribes of Israel

These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Matthew 10:5-8

Jesus also said in Matthew chapter 15, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

Have you ever wondered why Israel never became a Christian nation. It was because Jesus came for the Lost 10 tribes of Israel instead... then ask yourself what nations became Christian and followed the teachings Christ! Search and there you will find your answer where the lost tribes are today!

The Lost Tribes of Israel by Pastor David D. Johnson

Introduction

I am by no means an expert on this subject but I am very interested in what others have discovered and am willing to learn. I want to condense some of the information that I have gathered and share it with you in hopes that you too may become interested. We live in the time when all of Israel is going to be awaken from the slumber they have been in and the Lost Tribes are going to be shocked to learn who they really are.

We know that Great Britain and the United States have been blessed far and above any nations that have ever existed on the face of this earth but did God fail to mention these great nations in any of His prophecies in the Bible? Are the people of the United States, the British Nations, and Northwestern European nations mentioned in Bible prophecies? These nations became, in the past two centuries, the wealthiest nations, and potentially, at least, the most powerful. They possessed, at their height of power, almost three fourths of all the wealth and resources of the world. All other nations, combined, had little more than a fourth divided among them. And they acquired nearly all of it since AD 1800. Never has there been anything like it in history. Never did a people spread out and grow so rapidly to wealth and power. Never were a people so rich. Why? Consider also, these people have printed and distributed the Bible by unbelievable millions of copies in the languages of all peoples.

We know Bible prophecies definitely refer to Russia, Italy, Ethiopia, Libya and Egypt, of today. Could they then ignore modern nations like Britain and America? Is it reasonable? Assuredly it is not. The fact is, these people are mentioned more often than any other race. Yet their prophetic identity has remained hidden to the many. Modern nations are not spoken of in their modern names, except in few cases.

It was prophesied in Jerimiah 1:10,

"See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant."

We can read in the book of Jerimiah about him tearing down the nations of the Twelve Tribes but what did he ever plant? Is it true that Jerimiah went to the British Isles and to Ireland? We know that God said that the scepter would not depart from Judah and that a king would always sit on the throne of David, but what happened after King Zediciah and his sons were slaughtered. Did God forget His promise to David? Are all the promises in the Old Testament given to all the tribes of Israel or are some given to the House of Israel and some to the House of Judah? Are all the tribes of Israel Jews? Was Abraham a Jew? Was Jacob a Jew?

I will attempt to answer these questions and others that will be brought up as we unravel this mystery.

CHAPTER 1

The Twelve Tribes of Israel "Judah"

Judah is the ruling tribe and the scepter belongs to this tribe. Jacob blessed Judah in Gen 49:10 (NIV) by prophesying,

"Judah, your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father's sons will bow down to you. You are a lion's cub, O Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness--who dares to rouse him? The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff (a lawgiver, KJV) from between his feet, until he comes (until Shiloh come, KJV) to whom it belongs and the obedience of the nations is his.

He will tether his donkey to a vine, his colt to the choicest branch; he will wash his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes. His eyes will be darker than wine, his teeth whiter than milk."

The name JUDAH means PRAISE, and the first part of Jacob's prophecy in Gen 49 is that Judah's brethren shall praise him. Now, there must be a reason for praise being given to Judah. Rotherham translates it this way,

"Judah, as for thee, thy brethren shall praise thee when thy hand is in the neck of thy foes."

This is why Judah's brethren pay honor to him. When Judahites were defeated and discouraged, the rest of Israel had nothing to do with them. But when God begin to give the Judahites triumph over their enemies the rest of the Israelites were ready to sing their praises. Judah is known by his HANDS because it is his hand that is on the neck of his foes.

Thus, every Judahite will be noted by the use of their hands. If we could see the twelve tribes as the figure of a man we would see Judah making up the arms and hands.

Some Judah's talk with their hands, some work with their hands, some rule with their hands, some play musical instruments with their hands, but one sure sign of Judahites is the strength of their hands. The neck speaks of the will, for to be stiff necked is to be obstinate-willed. So Judah's hands always manage to get hold of the will of the foe. This would indicate that Judah is not after the life of his adversaries, nor is he vindictive. He only wants to locate and take hold of the will of his enemies so that he might change that will into the will of God. As a result, Judah's brothers bow themselves to him recognizing that he is primarily a leader, a warrior, a conqueror in and through the Lord Jesus. Their bowing to him symbolizes their recognition of the anointing that rest upon Judah.

Next, Judah is likened to a lion's whelp, a lion, and an old lion. This indicates that there are three stages of development in Judah's lion-like characteristics. The lion's whelp or young lion is fearless and dangerous. It has not lived long enough to have learned some of the lessons necessary in a lion's life. A young Judahite is much like Peter who was always eager to say what was on his mind without considering the effect on the minds and feelings of those who heard. Judahites who are young in the Lord lack maturity, are fearless in nature and will tackle most anything. Because of their lack of wisdom and experience the results will often be to their own damage or the damage of others.

In due time the young lion will mature to a lion that stoops. The Hebrew meaning of 'stoops' is to bow or bend the knee. Time and experience will mature a Judahites character which will change them from the reckless one into a place of humility where he knows that daring faith must be mixed with humility and wisdom. Their bowing to him it symbolizes their recognition of the anointing that rest upon Judah.

The third stage of mentioned here is the old lion, and "Who shall raise him up?" The old lion has gone through the stages of daring and then humility and with these lessons learned, he is willing to take the place of couching. This is the place of rest and watchfulness. The Judahites always have the lion-like nature, but some are more matured than others which comes by experience and time. Judahites must learn to be patient until this process is complete.

The prophecy continues with regards to the scepter, which speaks of ruler ship, Judah is the ruling tribe. Again the hands of Judah are brought into focus, for it is the hand that holds a scepter, thus we see Judah's hand is a ruling hand. Judah means praise and praise itself is a powerful ruling force in all circumstances. The prophecy continues and says,

"The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff (or a lawgiver) from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs and the obedience of the nations is his. until he comes to whom it belongs and the obedience of the nations is his. "

The Hebrew word for lawgiver means a graver--one who decrees a thing and engraves it deeply that it be not effaced. Judah's scepter position is also a position of decreeing things and seeing them come to pass. Judahites are marked by this power of decreeing things into existence. Their mouth works with their hands in bringing to pass their decrees of both righteousness and unrighteousness. An immature Judahite will often decree things that are better off not decreed! So, the ruling hand of Judah is confirmed by his decreeing mouth.

Then comes the strange statement that has been a point of controversy through the years: "Until Shiloh come." Without a doubt, this refers primarily to Jesus Christ who is the Prince of Peace, for Shiloh means tranquility or place of rest.

Jesus is called the "LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH." Rotherham's translation says,

"The scepter shall not depart from Judah until he come in as a Shiloh."

This not only refers to Christ, Himself, but also to the body of Christ. As a result the scepter and law-giver shall not depart from Judah until Judah comes in as peace and rest. The Judahites are energetic, daring, rugged individuals, marked by the power and use of their hands. They are very forceful, domineering, take charge individuals. In the process of their purification and maturity, the Lord finally brings them to the place of becoming peace and rest to all that are around them. How Glorious!

The next part of Jacob's prophecy gives us a picture of Judah's sacrifice. He binds his ass to the vine and his ass's colt to the choice vine, which is a strange statement. The Hebrew word for ass means strength and endurance. Judah's are known for their strength, not necessarily physical strength but strength of character, will, assurance, etc. The time comes when every Judahite must sacrifice his strength to God. Notice that he tied his strength to the Vine. What is this vine? Jesus said in John 15:1,

"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener."

Judahites and all of their offspring's must come to a place in their spiritual maturing where they sacrifice all their strength and ability to the Lord and allow Him to be in control. When this is done a cleansing takes place that Judahites never knew before. Judahites will be led by the Holy Spirit to a place where they will wash their garments in wine, which is a type of blood. The garments speak of that which covers a person, and at present time we are clothed with mortality.

There is only one way of changing this and that is by being washed by the blood out of the True Vine. We are to be so joined to Christ that even our very blood becomes clean and filled with His life so that bodies comes into purity. Our bodies will then be redeemed and mortality will be swallowed up by His life. Rotherham says he washes his mantle in the blood of grapes. "And in the blood of grapes his mantle."

The mantle is a type of authority or anointing of God. Even though you may have this authority or anointing of God you will still have to undergo the cleansing of His blood which will cause your blood to be changed. This God-given authority must be given back to Him as a sacrifice. He will return it to Judah again and nevermore will it be used for any other purpose than to honor the Lord.

The next statement concerning Judah is,

"His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk."

And Paul said in Eph 1:18,

"The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints"

So the eyes of Judah's understanding shall be red, literally, refreshed or fiery, with wine. Wine speaks of the blood and again signifies that the changing and purifying of the bloodstream will bring the understanding of Judah to the place of being refreshed or made new. This is not only true of Judah but of all those who are looking for that enlarged understanding of the things of God. The blood feeds the brain and as the blood is purified so also shall our understanding and knowledge be clarified and no longer shall we see through a glass darkly. Then indeed shall the eyes of understanding and knowledge be brought into a higher level. The NIV version states this passage this way,

"His eyes will be darker than wine,"

This means that our knowledge will be very deeply imbedded in Christ and out of this knowledge will flow rivers of understanding. Then indeed shall the eyes of the understanding not only be refreshed but a refreshing to our whole body. Through these fiery eyes of understanding we will be a refiners soap to the rest of the body of Christ. What a blessed promise! And all of these things are happening even as I speak.

The next thing said about Judah is very strange. (NIV)

" His eyes will be darker than wine, his teeth whiter than milk."

The teeth speak of that which chews or meditates. To mall over in your mind. White speaks of purity. Therefore, the teeth of Judah are pure with milk. Milk is easily gathered and is a perfect food and does not require chewing. Many people want to chew the meat of the Word before they have taken enough of the milk of the Word. They try to build with no foundation. The teeth of Judah are prepared to chew because they have taken their share of the rudimentary elements of the Word. Milk is the main source of calcium that produces strong teeth with which to chew.

Moses said of Judah in Deut. 33:7 (KJV)

"And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies."

Moses first mentions the voice of Judah which is interesting because all Judah's are vocal. The Hebrew word for 'voice' is 'gol' which means bleating, crackling, cry, fame, lowing, noise, proclamation, sound, thunder, and thundering. This gives quite a variety of meaning for it signifies anything from the sound of a sheep to the crackling of a fire, from the lowing of cattle to sure proclamation, from a crying to the sound of thunder. Some of this sounds terribly noisy and some more subdued, and that is the way the voice of Judah is.

Some Judah's roar and thunder, some are more muted like the lowing of cattle, whereas still others are as the snapping and crackling of a roaring fire. Judah's are known by their voice, be it a voice of singing or a voice of thunder, be it quietness or shouting from the housetop. Judahites are a combination of all kinds of voices. At times this is very irritating to others. Moses asked the Lord to listen and hear the voice of Judah which indicates the importance of Judah's voice.

The next thing said of Moses to the Lord is, "Bring him to his people." People of the tribe of Judah are rugged individualists and as such they tend to be independent, which is fine in its place, but they also have to be brought to the rest of the people. The word 'bring' is literally bring in or cause to come in, and thus the Judahites must be caused of God to come in, or enter into, the company of the rest of Israel.

Judah was always in the vanguard of battle, showing their raggedness, and this holds true of his offspring but Judahites must learn to be a part of the whole. Likewise, all of Israel must recognize Judah's unique place and accept them for what they are. Again we are faced with another fact concerning Judah's hands:

"Let his hands be sufficient for him."

The Hebrew word for 'sufficient' is the word 'reb' which means abundant, enough, great, many, mighty, plenteous, etc. and is the root of such words as: captain, chief, archer, lord, and master. Thus, Judah's hands are not simply sufficient for him , but they are great and mighty, the hands of archers, captains, chiefs and masters. Hands speak of labor, strength and dexterity and all of this is true of Judahites.

David, who was of Judah, not only knew how to handle the sword, but also to play skillfully on the harp. What a contrast! But this is the contrast found among the Judah's, for their hands are varied and mighty in whatever they undertake. Hands can hold the scepter as well as the sword, or bear the signet right of the king or the staff of the shepherd.

Moses' blessing ends with these words,

"Be thou an help to him from his enemies."

This statement infers that Judah has enemies and how true! Many from the other tribes of Israel are jealous of Judah because of his many talents and abilities. This often causes bitterness and resentment to cause them not to accept Judah and his many talents. Moses knew this and asked the Lord to be a help to Judah from those who don't take the time to understand him.

The word for enemy is the Hebrew 'tsar' which literally means an adversary, distresser, or straitner. Judah deals quit well with ordinary enemies but this strong kind that brings inward and outward distress and straitness is something else. It is here that Judah needs special help from the Lord against this bitterly hostile or antagonistic, hateful, intensely irritating, obnoxious, or harsh type.

Let me encourage you Judahites for yours is not an easy lot, and there will always be those who rise against you, even from your loved ones, but in such places the Lord will be your help. Remember, the Lord teaches your hands to war against the giants, but He also teaches the skillfulness of harpist's hands that you might drive out evil spirits by songs of praise. God is your help at all times!

Let me briefly sum up the characteristics and blessings of Judah because even if you are not of the tribe of Judah you will still gain spiritual lessons from him. Judah's outstanding mark is his HANDS. Hands of dexterity, hands of war, hands of might and talent.

The next thing that marks Judah is his voice because it can be as tender as a shepherd speaking to a lambkin or as loud and harsh as the roar as a loin after prey. Judahites are in nature like a lion, some as daring as a young lion; others watchful as an old one. Judah knows the value of sacrifice and willingly binds his strength to the True Vine. His understanding always proves refreshing as well as fiery insights, and many times that fire can be seen in his eyes. Judah is always an individualist that must become merged into the rest of God's people. He is the recipient of God's help because of being constantly assailed by enemies, within and without. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah forever prevails and is found worthy to open the even-sealed book and also the seals of your inner being.

All of us have a part in the Tribe of Judah because we are in Jesus Christ and He is The Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

Here are some interesting notes on the Tribe of Judah. The Tribe of Judah is always first.

It is the first stone on the breastplate. In the Book of Judges it was the first tribe to go to war. In the Tabernacle of Moses, Judah was the first tribe to move out or to lead. Judah was camped by the door of the Tabernacle. Jacob's sons, by order of birth, were Reuben, Simeon, Levi then Judah. Yet Judah moved from fourth place to first place.

Judah is the first stone on the breastplate of the high priest and the stone is a sardius. Sardius or sardian or a sard stone is a deep red or a brownish red stone and is a variety of the carnelian stone which means flesh colored. It has always been a favorite stone used by the engravers to engrave seals upon. It is a stone that is really worked upon. Notice that the color of wine is red and so is this stone.

CHAPTER 2

David Takes the Throne!

After the death of Jacob and his twelve sons in Egypt, their children grew in some two hundred years to a population of about two million in that land. Then God raised up Moses and fitted him in special way to lead these children of Israel, out of the bondage that had come to them in Egypt. When they reached Mt. Sinai, in the peninsula wilderness, God made a covenant with them establishing them as a nation, His nation, among the kingdoms of the world. Their government was theocratic, with the civil, as well as the spiritual and religious laws, given direct from God. God himself was their king and he ruled them by a system of Judges.

But later the Israelites demanded a man for king, even as the Gentile nations around them. And so God gave them Saul as their first human king. Saul, however, was not a good king, nor was his heart right with God. Saul was dethroned and his dynasty faded away with his son. Then God placed David, a man after his own heart, of no relationship to Saul, upon the throne of Israel. Because of his obedience and sincerity and honesty of heart, David, like Abraham, received a most astonishing unconditional promise from God, as little known as the birthright promised to Abraham. This promise of God became known as The Davidic Covenant.

Like the covenant with Abraham, God made the Davidic Covenant unconditional and unbreakable. David wanted to build a great Temple, as God's house in Jerusalem but God told him in 11 Samuel 7:12,

"When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever."

This, of course, was his son Solomon, who succeeded David to the throne. God said of Solomon in 11 Samuel 7:13,

"He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever."

It is important to note here that the throne of David, occupied by Solomon, was to be established forever! If that throne ever ceased to exist, then God's promise has failed! But some say the promise was conditioned upon the obedience of Solomon and the future line of kings or their people.

However, God said in verses 14 and 15,

"I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with the rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men. But my love will never be taken away from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before you. Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me; your throne will be established forever.'"

Saul's dynasty ceased because of his disobedience but God promises David that He will never take away his throne. David's dynasty shall never cease! Not only was that throne established forever, it was to exist continuously, forever, through all generations! Psalms 89:3-4 says,

"You said, "I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David my servant, 'I will establish your line forever and make your throne firm through all generations.'"

That throne was to stand forever as attested in verses 28-37,

"Once for all, I have sworn by my holiness and I will not lie to David—that his line will continue forever and his throne endure before me like the sun; it will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky."

Jeremiah 33:17 (KJV) says,

"For thus saith the Lord; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel"

What I want to share with you now is very important. So far as is historically known, the last king of David's dynasty to sit upon that throne was King Zedekiah of Judah. He was killed along with all his sons, and many nobles of Judah. There is no historical record of any continuance of that throne from that year.

Did David want for a man to sit upon his throne, and continue his dynasty, from that day on? Some say Christ took over the throne. But he didn't. Instead he was crucified, resurrected, and ascended to heaven. He shall come, and soon, to sit upon that throne as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Even if Jesus had taken over the throne, the throne was vacant from the time of Zedekiah to the time of Jesus. The question then must be asked, "How can Jesus Christ, when he returns again to earth, take over and sit upon a throne that long ago ceased to exist?

If the throne of David ceased with Zedekiah, then it does not exist today. And if it does not exist, how shall Christ sit upon a nonexistent throne? In Luke 1:31-32 the Bible says,

"You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."

Since the throne of David was to continue through all generations, how about those many generations between Zedekiah and the birth of Jesus? God said in Jerimiah 33, 19-21,

"This is what the LORD says: 'If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, so that day and night no longer come at their appointed time, then my covenant with David my servant—and my covenant with the Levites who are priests ministering before me—can be broken and David will no longer have a descendant to reign on his throne."

How many of you realize that day and night still continues. Well, then, does David's throne? But what do the people say? Unless you can stop this old earth from turning on its axis, unless you can remove the sun and the moon and the stars from heaven, says the Almighty, you cannot prevent him from keeping his covenant to maintain continuously through all generations, forever, from the time of David and Solomon, a descendant of David in one continuous dynasty on that throne! Not necessarily ruling over all the House of Israel or of the Jews, but at least some of them, enough to form a nation. Remember again, the scepter promise, which includes this line of kings until it culminates in Christ at his Second Coming. Jacob said in Gen. 49:10,

"The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh [Christ] comes; and to him shall be the obedience of the people"

Has the Scepter departed from Judah? Has the throne ceased? Or does it, as God so bindingly promised, exist today, so that Christ can take over and sit upon a living, going, continuous throne when he comes?

CHAPTER 3

Israel becomes two nations

Let me make a very strong statement for some of you. The House of Israel is not Jewish! Those who constitute it are not Jews, and never were! I will prove this fact to you now conclusively, beyond refute. After David's death his son Solomon, succeeded him to the throne. Solomon taxed the people excessively, and reigned in gorgeous splendor probably never equaled before or since. And because he also married Gentile wives, sacrificed to their idols, and committed other sins, God said to him in 1 Kings 11:11-18

"The LORD became angry with Solomon because his heart had turned away from the LORD, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice. Although he had forbidden Solomon to follow other gods, Solomon did not keep the LORD'S command. So the LORD said to Solomon, "Since this is your attitude and you have not kept my covenant and my decrees, which I commanded you, I will most certainly tear the kingdom away from you and give it to one of your subordinates. Nevertheless, for the sake of David your father, I will not do it during your lifetime. I will tear it out of the hand of your son. Yet I will not tear the whole kingdom from him, but will give him one tribe for the sake of David my servant and for the sake of Jerusalem, which I have chosen."

Note this! It is the kingdom, not part of it, which is to be torn away. Only one tribe is to remain and that's the Tribe of Judah, which must remain subject to the throne. Why? "For David's sake!" David's dynasty must not be broken because God will not break his covenant!

When Solomon died, his son Rehoboam succeeded to him on David's throne. The people at once demanded the heavy taxes be reduced. Their spokesman was Jeroboam (Solomon's servant), who pleaded with Rehoboam in 1 Kings 12:1-5,

"Rehoboam went to Shechem, for all the Israelites had gone there to make him king. When Jeroboam son of Nebat heard this (he was still in Egypt, where he had fled from King Solomon), he returned from Egypt. So they sent for Jeroboam, and he and the whole assembly of Israel went to Rehoboam and said to him: "Your father put a heavy yoke on us, but now lighten the harsh labor and the heavy yoke he put on us, and we will serve you." Rehoboam answered, "Go away for three days and then come back to me." So the people went away."

In three days they went back to Rehoboam and he told them this verse 13,

"My father made your yoke heavy; I will make it even heavier. My father scourged you with whips; I will scourge you with scorpions."

This resulted in the people of Israel rebelling. The command to the people was, "To your tents, 0 Israel!" The challenge to the royal house was, "Now, see to thine own house!" (Verse 16). "So Israel rebelled against the house of David unto this day. 1 Kings 12:19-20 says,

"When all the Israelites heard that Jeroboam had returned, they sent and called him to the assembly and made him king over all Israel. Only the tribe of Judah remained loyal to the house of David."

I Kings 12:21-24,

"And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, with the tribe of Benjamin, an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of Solomon. But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying, Speak unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the remnant of the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD, and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD."

Israel is now divided into two nations. Notice carefully. The House of Judah, which now includes the tribe of Benjamin and Levi was wanting to go and fight against The House of Israel which was headed by Ephraim and Manasseh. But God said, "No! This is of Me!"

The term "Jew" is merely a late name for "Judah." It applies to the one nation, or House of Judah only and never to the House of Israel. The first place in the entire Bible where the word "Jew" is used is in II Kings 16:6 which says,

"At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drove the Jews from Elath: and the Syrians came to Elath, and dwelt there unto this day."

(Read the 16th chapter of 11 Kings)

Notice this! Ahaz began to reign as king of Judah (verse 1). He sat on David's throne (verse 2). At this time, a man named Pekah was king of Israel. With King Rezin of Syria as an ally, this king of Israel came against Jerusalem in war, and besieged King Ahaz of Judah, but could not overcome him (verse 5). "At that time, Rezin, king of Syria "the ally of Israel, fighting with Israel, against Judah" recovered Elath to Syria and drove the Jews from Elath" (verse 6).

Notice this! The first place in the Bible where the word "Jew" is used, we find Israel at war against the Jews! Israel's ally, Syria, drove the Jews out of the town of Elath! Certainly this proves that the Jews are a different nation altogether from the House of Israel. The Jews of today are Judah! They call their nation "Israel" today because they, too, descend from the patriarch Israel or Jacob. But remember that the "House of Israel", the ten tribes that separated from Judah are not Jews!

Whoever the lost ten tribes of Israel are today, they are not Jews! Wherever you see the name "House of Israel," or "Samaria," or "Ephraim," used in prophecy, remember this, it never refers to the Jews, but to the ten tribes of the House of Israel, who were at war against the Jews! The terms "Israel" alone, or "children of Israel," may, and sometimes does, include the Jews, where all twelve tribes are included. Jews are Israelites, just as Californians are Americans. But most Israelites are not Jews, just as most Americans are not Californians. The Jews are the House of Judah only and only part of the Israelites. But when these people are spoken of as nations rather than as collective individuals, the term "House of Israel" never refers to the Jews. "House of Israel" never means "Jews."

The two tribes at Jerusalem under the Davidic king are called, merely, the House of Judah and, later in history, "Israel," but never the national name House of Israel. But of Ephraim and Manasseh, sons of Joseph, the dying Israel had said, "Let my name be named on them." And truly they now bear the name of Israel in prophecy. From this point on in the Bible, the tribe of Judah, with Benjamin and a portion of the priests of the tribe of Levi, are called "Judah," not Israel in Old Testament history.

Abraham, Issach, Jacob, Rubium, Simon, Dan, Gad, etc. were never Jews! The ten tribes, headed by Ephraim and Manasseh from this time on are called "House of Israel." They are not Jews, and never were called Jews! From this time on, the children of Israel, twelve tribes in all, are divided into two nations! And now, for the first time, the birthright goes into one nation, Israel, headed by Ephraim & Manasseh; while the scepter remains in another nation, called Judah. The two phases of the promises to Abraham now are separated into two entirely separate nations!

For many generations Israel and Judah remained as into idolatry. Israel was the only nation that kept it. Because they rejected this sign, they were driven out, and lost their identity. (Read Ezekiel 20:10-24.) Judah, too, went into captivity largely because of Sabbath rejecting. (See Jeremiah 17.) But those Jews who returned 70 years later under Ezra and Nehemiah had learned their lesson. They became legalistically strict Sabbatarians adding over the years so many of their own restrictions to it that Jesus, later, had to sweep aside this maze of man made rules, saying "The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath." To this day orthodox Jews have retained the original Sabbath. And because those Jewish people who descend from the Ezra & Nehemiah leadership have retained God's covenant identifying sign, the world today looks upon them as Israel! And yet they actually are only a part of Judah.

So "the Lord removed Israel out of his sight. Israel was carried away out of their own land to Assyria" (II Kings 17:23). They left the land of Samaria and never yet, nationally returned! Gentiles were placed in their homes and cities, (v.24), and it is these Gentiles who were known as Samaritans in the time of Christ.

A more detailed account of the captivity of Israel is found in II Kings 18:9-12, and 17:5-18. Now the House of Israel began to "abide many days without a king" (Hosea 3:4). Since they were the people who carried the title "House of Israel," it is they, not Judah, who must become lost in identity! They lost their language, their religion, their land. They did not return to Palestine with the Jews in the days of Ezra and Nehemiah, as some erroneously believe. Those who returned to rebuild the temple and restore worship in Jerusalem at that time, 70 years after Judah's captivity, were only those of the House of Judah whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried to Babylon.

Note well these facts.

1. In 721 BC Israel was "carried away out of their own land to Assyria" (II Kings 17:23). They were soon all removed completely. There was none left but the tribe of Judah only" (II Kings 17:18). Judah, only, remained.

2. More than 130 years later, Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon carried the Jews (Judah) who only remained in the Promised Land away to Babylon. So the House of Israel did not dwell in the Promised Land at the time of this captivity of Judah.

3. Those who returned to Palestine to rebuild the temple and restore worship 70 years after Judah's captivity were all of the House of Judah, all Jews, all of those whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away. They returned again "unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city" (Ezra 2:1). Only those of the tribes of Judah, Benjamin and Levi, who constituted the house of Judah returned at that time (Ezra 1:5).

Consequently those in Jerusalem in the time of Christ were of these three tribes, not of the House of Israel, except for those few individuals of the other tribes who joined Judah for religious reasons after the nation divided into two nations upon the death of Solomon.

By what name are these 10 tribes known today? Whoever they are, wherever they are, it is they, and not the Jews, who are the birthright possessors. It is they, not the Jews, who, after the ending of their punishment in 1800 A.D. must inherit the unbreakable promises to Abraham of national greatness, resources, wealth and power. It is Manasseh who, after A.D. 1800, was to become the world's greatest single nation, and Ephraim a great commonwealth of nations! Who can they be, today?

CHAPTER 4

The Lost Tribes of Israel

Chapter 4

JEREMIAH'S MYSTERIOUS COMMISSION

When Israel was driven out to Assyria in 721 BCE Judah had not yet sinned as a nation. Through Hosea, God said, "Though thou, Israel, play the harlot, yet let not Judah offend" (Hosea 4:15). But later "her treacherous sister Judah feared not but went and played the harlot also," and God finally said, "The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah" (Jeremiah 8:8-11). And so, about 130 years after Israel's captivity, the time came when God drove out the Jews, too, into national captivity and banishment.

For this purpose God raised up a very special prophet, whose real call and few, indeed, understand. This prophet was Jeremiah. He was sanctified before he was born. (See Jeremiah 1:5.) Jeremiah, when first given his vital call and commission, was a young lad about 17. Before he finally completed it, he was an aged White haired patriarch. The commission is recorded in Jeremiah 1:10,

"See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant."

I want you to notice that Jeremiah was set over the nations, more than one. He was a Jew, of the tribe of Levi, living in Judah. He was set a prophet over Judah, but not Judah alone. Over the nations, Judah and Israel! He was set over them to do two things: to tear down something, and then to build and to plant something. Jeremiah was used of God as a prophet to warn Judah of their sins, and of the coming invasion and captivity at the hands of Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon unless they repented. He was used as a go between, a mediator, between the kings of Judah and Nebuchadnezzar the Chaldean king.

It is well known that Jeremiah was used in destroying the kingdom of Judah. But note it in your Bible! He also was commissioned to plant and to build! What was he to plant and build? Why, naturally, that which was pulled down and rooted out of Judah, the throne of David. He was set over the kingdoms of Israel as well as Judah. He was used in throwing down that throne from Judah. Then what was he commissioned to do in Israel? The second half of his strange and little understood commission was to build and to plant! So far as the world knows, the last king to sit on that throne of David was Zedekiah of Judah. He was thrown down off it, and the throne rooted out of Judah nearly 600 years before Christ!

What, then! Did God forget his covenant with David? Did the throne cease? True, the government of Judah ceased, as had the kingdom of Israel more than 130 years before! But see what else Jeremiah was commissioned to do, to plant and to build! To plant and rebuild among the House of Israel, lo, these many days without a king among lost Israel, now supposing that she was a Gentile! Therefore the identity and location of the replanting has remained hidden to the world until this time of the end in which we live today!

If you will carefully read the important book of Jeremiah, you will notice the first few chapters are devoted to his ministry in warning the Jews of their impending invasion and captivity unless they would repent. But they would not repent. And so, finally, the invasion came. In the first siege Nebuchadnezzar marched into Jerusalem, taking it captive. However, he did not at once drive out all the Jews. He did not even drive out their king, Jehoiakim, but made him a vassal king, the servant of Nebuchadnezzar. As such he continued on his throne, as did two more kings after him, Jehoiachin, his son, arid Zedekiah, his brother. (Read II Kings 24).

In Zedekiah's 11th year as king, the Chaldean armies besieged Jerusalem, entered it; the city was broken up, the palace and temple destroyed. All the sons of King Zedekiah were killed before his eyes. So that there would be no man to carry on his dynasty, all the princes of Judah were also slain. King Zedekiah's eyes were put out, and he was bound in chains and carried to Babylon where he died. You will read of all this captivity in II Kings 25,11 Chronicles 36, Jeremiah 39, and 52.

And now the first part of Jeremiah's strange commission is accomplished! So far as the world could see, or has seen since, the dynasty of David had ended! No king remained on the throne. Judah's last king was dead. All his sons were dead. All other princes who might be possible heirs to carry on the dynasty had been killed. No possible heir of Zedekiah to the throne, so the world then believed, remained alive.

But how about the second part of Jeremiah's great commission? Was God able to keep his covenant with David? Was he able to plant, and rebuild that throne? Jeremiah was among these captives Jews. Yet he must remain free to carry out the second part of his mission. So,

"The LORD your God decreed this disaster for this place. And now the LORD has brought it about; he has done just as he said he would. All this happened because you people sinned against the LORD and did not obey him. But today I am freeing you from the chains on your wrists. Come with me to Babylon, if you like, and I will look after you; but if you do not want to, then don't come. Look, the whole country lies before you; go wherever you please." However, before Jeremiah turned to go? Nebuzaradan added, "Go back to Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has appointed over the towns of Judah, and live with him among the people, or go anywhere else you please."

So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward [expense money] and let him go" (Jeremiah 40:1-5). Jeremiah was left free to perform the second half of his commission.

Where did he go? We come now to an amazing, fascinating, thrilling part of the book of Jeremiah, which has been almost entirely overlooked. "Then went Jeremiah unto Gedeliah, to Mizpah; and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land" (6th verse). Now this Gedeliah had been made governor by the king of Babylon over a remnant of Jews in the land, and since Jerusalem was destroyed, he had made Mizpah his headquarters. But the king of Ammon plotted with a Jew named Ishmael to assassinate Gedeliah. The plot was executed; the governor and part of the Jews were slain. Jeremiah was among the survivors.

"Then Ishmael carried away captive all the residue of the people that were in Mizpah, even the king's daughters, and all the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard [from Babylon] had committed to Gedeliah... and carried them away captives, and departed to go over to the Ammonites" (Jeremiah 41:10)(KJV).

Did you catch it? Read that passage again. Among these Jews were the king's daughters! Daughters of Zedekiah, king of Judah and of David's dynasty! King Zedekiah had died. All his sons had been killed. All possible heirs of Zedekiah to David's throne had been killed, except the king's daughters! Now we see why Jeremiah went to Mizpah!

Soon a man named Johanan replaced Ishmael as leader. And in fear of reprisals from Nebuchadnezzar and the Chaldean army, they appealed to the prophet, "and said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication be accepted before thee, and pray for us unto the Lord thy God... that the Lord thy God may show us the way wherein we may walk" (Jeremiah 42:2-3) (KJV). The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, and he told them not to fear, that he would protect and deliver them. But the people wanted to flee to Egypt. This Lord warned them not to do. If they did, the sword of Nebuchadnezzar which they feared would overtake them there and they would die (Jeremiah 42:7-16) (KJV). But, as people usually do, they rejected God's warning. "Thou speakest falsely," Johanan answered (Jeremiah 48:2-3). And so Johanan "took all the remnant ....... even men, and women, and children, and the king's daughters... and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah, Jeremiah's scribe, or secretary. So they came into the land of Egypt" (Jeremiah 48:5-7)(KJV).

Baruch was Jeremiah's constant companion and secretary. It is important to note here God's promise of protection to him: "Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, unto thee, o Baruch... Behold, that which I have built I will break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest" (Jeremiah 45:2-5). His life, like Jeremiah's, was under divine protection! On reaching Egypt, God warned these Jews again through Jeremiah that they would die there by the sword and famine, and 'none shall return but such as shall escape" (Jeremiah 44:12-14).

A few in this company are under divine protection. A divine mission is to be performed. They shall escape! The Lord continues: "Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah" (Jeremiah 44:28).

Jeremiah, Baruch, and the royal seed for replanting and rebuilding David's throne, all under divine protection, were to escape, and return to the land of Judah. Then Jeremiah and his company were to journey to a strange land, which they knew not (Jeremiah 15:11-14),

"The LORD said, "Surely I will deliver you for a good purpose; surely I will make your enemies plead with you in times of disaster and times of distress."

Now let Isaiah complete this prophecy in Isaiah 37:32-31,

"Once more a remnant of the house of Judah will take root below and bear fruit above. For out of Jerusalem will come a remnant, and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this."

A remnant of Judah survived the Assyrian onslaught in Isaiah's day, as did remnant in Jeremiah's day. This prophecy, like many, is dual. This remnant with Jeremiah and least one of the king's daughters shall take root downward or below! That is, be replanted! And then bear fruit upward or above.

Has God failed in his solemn covenant to keep alive David's throne? Where was this planting and building? Can we find it in God's Word? Yes we can! The place and the people, among whom the throne was reestablished, are clearly identified!

Where did Jeremiah go with Baruch his secretary and one or more of the royal daughters of the king? Bible history stops short at this point. Enlightened students of Bible history have long known that the Ten Tribes called by the name "House of Israel " have been lost, and exist today among the Gentile nations, unrecognized by the world Their identity, and location, is one of the things God has hidden from the world. Yet, in this end-time, when knowledge is to increase, when the "wise" are to understand (Daniel 12:4, 10), we shall find the secret revealed through prophecy which could not be understood until now.

In order to understand this we must first consider a mysterious "breach" that occurred in the days of Judah, son of Jacob. Judah was the father of twin sons. The firstborn was royal seed, for through him the scepter promise was to be carried down. It seems the midwife knew twins were about to be born. It is recorded that just before the two boys were born one of the twins "put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying 'This came out first.' "But the child drew back his hand, and the other was actually born first. The mid-wife exclaimed, "How hast thou broken forth? This breach be upon thee: [margin, wherefore hast thou made this breach against thee?] Therefore his name was called Pharez," meaning "Breach" (Genesis 38:27-30).

Why should this strange occurrence be recorded in Bible history, unless this breach was to be healed between the sons or their descendants at some future time? Yet it never occurred in their lifetime. Zarah, of the scarlet thread, had five sons (I Chronicles 2:6). Did a descendant of Zarah finally get the throne and in a manner healed the breach? David, Zedekiah, Christ, all were of the Pharez branch and none of them were of Zarah.

I want you also to consider the genealogy of Jesus as recorded in Luke 1.

"A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham: Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, Judah the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar,....."

Why did Matthew record the names of both Zerah and Perez? This will become apparent as we continue.

Now consider:

1. The fact of the breach calls for the transfer of the scepter from the Pharez to the Zarah line.

2. Such transfer never occurred before King Zedekiah of Judah, who was descended from Pharez.

3. Therefore it had to occur after Zedekiah's death.

Since David's line (Pharez) is to remain on the throne through all generations forever, it could only occur at an overturn of the throne by a marriage between a Pharez heir to the throne and one of the Zarah line, thus healing the breach. The descendants of Zarah according to a few scattered traditions became wanderers, journeying to the northwest within the confines of the Scythian nations, their descendants joining the Ten Tribes.

But meanwhile, the Pharez-David-Zedekiah line who possessed the scepter was highly exalted. The Zarah line, feeling it rightfully should possess the scepter, and some day would, was low and abased so far as royal power was concerned.

Now consider a much misunderstood passage of prophecy: If you will begin reading at the 18th verse of the 21st chapter of Ezekiel, you will see plainly that the God is here speaking of the captivity of Judah by the king of Babylon. And, beginning with the 25th verse, he says,

"And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel (Zedekiah), whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end, Thus saith the Lord God; 'Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: [This did happen during the first half of Jeremiah's commission.) This (the crown) shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high. I will overturn, overturn, and overturn it: and it shall be no more until he comes whose right it is: and I will give it him."

Let us understand this clearly. "Remove the diadem, and take off the crown." King Zedekiah, of David's dynasty, had the crown. This says it is to be removed and it was removed. He died in Babylon; his sons and all the nobles of Judah were killed. "This shall not be the same." The diadem is not to cease, but a change is to take place, the throne is to be overturned, another is to wear the crown. God's promise to David is not to go by default! "Exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high." Who is "high"? King Zedekiah of Judah. Now he is to be abased. He is to lose that crown. Judah has been "high," while Israel has been "low," these many years without a king (Hosea. 8:4). The Pharez line has been "high" the Zarah line has been "low." "I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more until he come whose right it is."

What was to be overturned? The diadem and the throne. Not once, it is to be debased and overturned three times (This is another case of the Three Dimensions that I wrote about in a different article). Overturned by abasing Zedekiah, the House of Judah, the Pharez line, and exalting, now, the House of Israel, and one of the Zarah line!

The first of the three overturns was accomplished as the first half of Jeremiah's commission. "And it shall be no more." Does this mean the throne the crown is to cease to exist? Not at all! How could it be overturned three times, that is, transferred from one to another, if it ceased to exist? How, after these three transfers of the crown, could it be given to him, Christ, whose right it is, at his Second Coming, if it ceased altogether to exist? How could the crown now exalt him, who was "low", if that crown was to be no more?

What He means is that it shall be no more overturned until the Second Coming of Christ! And then it shall be once again overturned, and given to him! This is in the Third Dimension where it is all God. (See my teaching on The Third Dimension) God will not break his unalterable promise made to David! Through every generation David shall have a descendant wearing that crown! The second half of Jeremiah's commission must now be performed. That throne must be transplanted, and again built.

The strange truth of the planting and the rebuilding of David's throne is revealed in a "riddle and a parable," couched in symbolic language never understood until this latter day. Yet it stands, today, so clearly explained a little child could understand! It fills the 17th chapter of Ezekiel's prophecy. The whole chapter should be carefully read.

Notice, first, this prophetic message is addressed, not to Judah, the Jews, but to the House of Israel. It is a Message to give light to the Lost Ten Tribe House of Israel in these latter days! First, Ezekiel is told to speak a riddle, and then a parable.

The riddle is found in verses 3 to 10,

"'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: A great eagle with powerful wings, long feathers and full plumage of varied colors came to Lebanon. Taking hold of the top of a cedar, he broke off its topmost shoot and carried it away to a land of merchants, where he planted it in a city of traders.

"He took some of the seed of your land and put it in fertile soil. He planted it like a willow by abundant water, and it sprouted and became a low, spreading vine. Its branches turned toward him, but its roots remained under it. So it became a vine and produced branches and put out leafy boughs.

"But there was another great eagle with powerful wings and full plumage. The vine now sent out its roots toward him from the plot where it was planted and stretched out its branches to him for water. It had been planted in good soil by abundant water so that it would produce branches, bear fruit and become a splendid vine.'

"Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Will it thrive? Will it not be uprooted and stripped of its fruit so that it withers? All its new growth will wither. It will not take a strong arm or many people to pull it up by the roots. Even if it is transplanted, will it thrive? Will it not wither completely when the east wind strikes it—wither away in the plot where it grew?'"

Then, beginning in verse 11, the God explains its meaning. "Say now to the rebellious house," When God says the "rebellious house" He is talking about the ten tribes of Israel (Ezek. 12:9), to whom Ezekiel is set a prophet (Ezek. 2:3; 3:1. etc.), "Know ye not what these things mean? Tell them... "And then the riddle is clearly explained. A great eagle came to Lebanon and took the highest branch of the cedar. This is explained to represent King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, who came to Jerusalem, and took captive the king of Judah. The cropping off of the cedar's young twigs and carrying them to a land of traffic is explained to picture the captivity of the king's sons.

"He took also of the seed of the land," means Nebuchadnezzar took also of the people, and the mighty of the land of Judah. "He set it as a willow tree. And it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature," means the Jews were given a covenant whereby, although they were ruled over by the Chaldeans, they might live in peace and grow. The other "great eagle" is explained to represent Pharaoh of Egypt.

This riddle covers the first half of Jeremiah's commission. Now notice what is revealed concerning the second part, the planting of David's throne! It comes in the parable, verses 22-24. "Thus saith the Lord God; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar." From God's own explanation we have learned that the cedar tree represents the nation of Judah; its highest branch is Judah's king.

The riddle told us Nebuchadnezzar took the highest branch, the king. The parable now tells us God, not Nebuchadnezzar, but God, will take of the highest branch. Not the branch, but of the branch of Zedekiah's children. But Nebuchadnezzar took, and killed, all his sons. God, through his prophet Jeremiah, is now going to take of this highest branch, and "set it" (verse 22). "I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon a high and lofty mountain," continues the Almighty! Ah! "A tender young twig!" The twigs of this highest branch represent the children of King Zedekiah.

Certainly a tender young twig, then, represents a daughter! ..... And will plant it." Could symbolic language say plainer this young Jewish princess is to become the royal seed for planting again of David's throne? Where? ..... Upon a high and lofty mountain," says God! A "mountain" in symbol always represents a nation. But which nation? "In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it," answers God! David's throne now is to be planted in Israel, after being thrown down from Judah! Could language be plainer? ..... And it [the tender young twig, the king's daughter] shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar:"

Did David's throne cease with Zedekiah of Judah? Did God forget his covenant? No! Compare this language with the passage in Isaiah 37:31-32: "the remnant that escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward be planted and bear fruit upward." It was planted in Israel, who removed from Judah.

After this Hebrew princess is "planted" on the throne, which is now in Israel, lost from view; that throne is to bear fruit. She is to marry, have children, and her sons are to continue David's dynasty! And under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell" (verse 23). "Lost" Israel, now having acquired the throne and become again a self-ruling nation, shall, in time, spread around the earth gaining dominance and power. They shall inherit the unconditional promises of the birthright, according to God's covenant with Abraham! "And all the trees of the field…" (verse 24). A "tree" in this riddle and parable is likened to a nation. In other words, "All the nations of the Earth..." ..... Shall know that I, the Lord, have brought down the high tree."

Judah, the high tree, having the throne 130 years after the House of Israel had been taken captive, now is brought down to the low stature of slavery." …… have exalted the low tree." For 130 years the House of Israel had been a "low tree". Now the House of Israel is exalted, becomes again a nation with a king."..... have dried up the green tree" Judah, "and have made the dry tree to flourish." The House of Israel, headed by the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, who possessed the birthright, now shall flourish, become prosperous in due time. "I the Lord have spoken and have done it."

Yes, that birthright is in Israel. Though lost, though supposed to be a Gentile nation, they are the people who were to grow into the promised multitude, the great nation, and the company of nations, possessing the gates of their enemy nations, becoming a colonizing people spreading around the world, being blessed with national resources and wealth. And, when they become thus powerful and nationally dominant, remember David's throne will be found transplanted among them!

But where did Jeremiah, with his royal seed for the transplanting, go to find the lost House of Israel? Where are they today? How was the 'breach" healed, and how did a son of Zarah ascend the throne? Can we tell?

We can! The exact, precise location is revealed in Bible prophecy! We can pick up Jeremiah's trail besides!

We are ready, now, to search out the actual location of the lost tribes of the outcast House of Israel. We know they exist today as a Nation, and a Company of Nations powerful, looked upon as Gentiles. And when we find them we shall find a ruler, still today occupying the throne of David! Many passages of prophecy tell of these people in these latter days. Prophecies not to be understood until this "time of the end." Prophecies containing a Message to be carried to these people by those to whom God reveals it!

First it is necessary to fix in mind these facts:

The prophet Amos wrote, in the days of the 18th of the 19 kings of the House of Israel, (Amos 1:1): "Behold the eyes of the Lord are upon the sinful kingdom [House of Israel, Judah had not yet sinned], and I will destroy it [the kingdom, or government, not the people] from off the face of the earth. For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth" (Amos 9:8-9).

This prophecy usually is applied to the scattered condition of the Jews. But it has nothing to do with the Jews, or House of Judah, but refers to the ten tribed House of Israel driven to Assyrian captivity, then migrating from there and scattering among other nations. This prophecy says that Israel (not Judah) was to be sifted among other nations where they loose their identity. Yet God has protected and kept them and "not the least grain shall fall upon the earth."

It was during this time that the children of the House of Israel were to "abide many days without a king" (Hosea 3:4). That these people did sift through the nations is clear. Many New Testament passages indicate this. Although many of them still were scattered among various nations in the first century A.D., a portion of them had become established in a definite location of their own by Jeremiah's time, 140 years after their original captivity. But these Israelites who possessed the birthright eventually were to come to a new land of their own.

The Lord says, in II Samuel 7:10 and I Chronicles 17:9: "Moreover, I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them [Jeremiah was commissioned to do the planting of the throne among them] that they may dwelt in a place of their own and move no more." The context of the whole passage shows this refers, not to the Promised Land of Canaan, but a different land where these scattered Israelites were to gather, after being removed from the promised land of Palestine, and while that land was lying idle and in possession of the Gentiles.

Notice carefully! After being removed from their land, being sifted among all nations, abiding many days without a king, losing their identity, they are to be "planted" in far away strange land, now to become their own. And, note it-after reaching this place, they are to move no more! That is, of course, during this present age. While other prophecies indicate these birthright holders were to become a colonizing people, spreading around the world, it is plain that the spreading out must be from this appointed place, which must remain the "home" seat of government for David's throne.

Mark this clearly! Once this "place of their own" was reached, and the throne of David planted there, they were to move no more. Therefore, the location of this people today is the place where Jeremiah planted David's throne more than 2,500 years ago!

Therefore prophecies pertaining to this day, or to the location of this people just prior to Christ's return, will tell us the location of Jeremiah's planting. The two succeeding "overturns" of the throne, too, must be located in this same place.

Without further suspense, let's see where this prophecy locates these birthright holders who are now possessing the throne of David and earth's richest national blessings. Remember they are distinguished from Judah, the Jews by various names, "Ephraim," "Joseph," "Jacob," "Rachel" (the mother of Joseph), Samaria (the former capital).

According to Hosea 12:1, "Ephraim followeth after the east wind." An "east wind" travels west. Ephraim must have gone west from Assyria. When God swore to David to perpetuate his throne, He said: "I will set his hand [scepter] in the sea" (Psalms 89:25). The throne is to be "set," planted, "in the sea." Through Jeremiah the Eternal said: "Backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah. Go and proclaim these words toward the north and say, Return thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord" (Jeremiah 3:11-12).

Israel is here clearly distinguished from Judah. And in these last days messengers are to go "toward the north" (of Jerusalem) in order to locate lost Israel and proclaim this warning. So the location, we now find, is toward the north, also west, and in the sea.

The 18th verse of the same chapter, says: "In those days the House of Judah shall walk with the House of Israel [margin, to the House of Israel], and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers." At the future Exodus, at Christ's coming, they are to return to the Holy Land out of the land of the north! After saying, "How shall I give thee up, Ephraim?" the Lord, speaking through Hosea, says: "... then the children shall tremble from the west" (Hosea 11:8, 10).

Again, "Behold, I will bring them from the North Country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth" (Jeremiah 31:8). This prophecy is for consideration in the "latter days" (Jeremiah 30:24; 31:1), and is addressed to "Israel" (verses 2, 4, 9,) to "Ephraim" (verses 6, 9,) and "Samaria" (verse 5). Here is added another hint "the coasts of the earth", evidently they are dominant at sea.

Referring to the House of Israel (not Judah) in Isaiah 49:3, 6, God says: "Behold these shall come from far: and lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim" (Isaiah 49:12). In the Hebrew, the language in which this was originally inspired, there is no word for "northwest," but the phrase, "the north and the west" designate this term. It means, literally, the northwest! The Vulgate renders "Sinim" as Australi" meaning the south. So we now have the location northwest of Jerusalem, as well as southern lands. Hence, Israel of today, Israel of the day of Jeremiah's "planting" of David's throne, is located specifically northwest of Jerusalem, and in the sea!

Let us locate this land more specifically! The same 49th chapter of Isaiah begins with this: "Listen, 0 isles, unto me." The people addressed, Israel, are called "0 Isles" in the first verse and "0 Israel" in the third verse. The 31st chapter of Jeremiah, locating Israel in the "north country," says: "I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my first born... Hear the word of the Lord, 0 ye nations "Ephraim, Manasseh" and declare it in the isles afar off' (Jeremiah 31:9-10).

Again: "Keep silence before me, 0 islands. .. thou, Israel, art my servant Jacob whom I have chosen" (Isaiah. 41:1).

In Jeremiah 31:7, the message to be declared "In the isles afar off" (verse 10) is to be shouted in "the chief of the nations." So, finally, today, as in Jeremiah's day, the House of Israel is in the isles, which are "in the sea" the chief of the nations, northwest of Jerusalem! A Coast-dwelling, and therefore sea dominant people. Certainly there can be no mistaking that identity! Take a map of Europe. Lay a line due northwest of Jerusalem across the continent of Europe, until you come to the sea, and then to the islands in the sea! This line takes you direct to the British Isles! This is proof that the white English speaking peoples today, Britain and America, are actually and truly the birthright tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh of the "lost" House of Israel.

Jeremiah’s Voyage

An old man arrives on an Island with a small group of people in 583 BC. He brings the daughter of a King, a scribe named Simon Brug and some relics. The powerful Milesian High King of all Ireland allows the old man complete control. Instituting laws, schools and congresses, the old man forever changes the face of the Island's history, and subsequently the history of the entire world. Apparently incidental to all this, is the fulfilling of a 500 year old prophecy.

Few people know that Jeremiah was much more than a prophet. He tends to get lumped in with Isaiah, Ezekiel and the others. Jeremiah did more than go around speaking doom and gloom. He held a high level position in the kingdom of Judah. He was the grandfather of King Zedekiah. II Kings 24:18. Most importantly, Jeremiah was God's Trustee of the Bloodline and the Throne of David.

Jeremiah's commission has always puzzled scholars. One can find where Jeremiah rooted out, pulled down, destroyed, and threw down kingdoms. History shows that his prophecies about the destruction of kingdoms came true. The mystery is, where did Jeremiah "build and plant?" The scriptural account doesn't contain any building and planting. There is also some confusion about Jeremiah's being put "over the nations." It would appear at first glance that this meant his prophesying against them. This is not the case. First, Jer 1:10 says that God set him "over the nations, not nations (in general). This is repeated with the word kingdoms; the kingdoms. The bible is concerned with only one people, the twelve tribes of Israel. Jeremiah was to "throw down" AND "build and plant" the Israelite nations. We'll have to follow his trail to find where he accomplished his mission.

First we'll look at the Biblical account. Jer 15:11-14 which tells us Jerry is going to a brand new place he "knowest not." Isaiah fills out the picture a bit. Isaiah 41:1-3

“Be silent before me, you islands!

Let the nations renew their strength!

Let them come forward and speak;

let us meet together at the place of judgment.

“Who has stirred up one from the east,

calling him in righteousness to his service?

He hands nations over to him

and subdues kings before him.

He turns them to dust with his sword,

to windblown chaff with his bow.

He pursues them and moves on unscathed,

by a path his feet have not traveled before.

This tells us that a "righteous man from the east" was put over nations and kings. This man would not travel by foot (on land). Jer 41:10 establishes the presence of the "king's daughters" in the group with Jeremiah. Jeremiah, as their great-grandfather, would certainly have assumed the position of Guardian. Then we find Jeremiah and the girls going to the Egyptian city of Tahpanhes. In fact, there is an ancient structure there that bears the name, "Palace of the Jew's daughters." Isaiah helps us again with a last bit of confirmation, in chapter 37:31, telling us that a "remnant of Judah" shall escape and "take root downward."

Before going on, we must take notice of what God had promised Jeremiah and his fellow travelers. God told Jeremiah that he'd be treated kindly by the Babylonians and die a natural death. Baruch, Jeremiah's scribe and Ebed-Melech, the Ethiopian, are also told they'd be spared. The probable number in Jeremiah's traveling band was five: Jeremiah, Baruch, Ebed-Melech Tea Tephi and her sister.

It's not so hard to trace the migration of large groups of people. Not so with small groups. But God knows this too, and has left evidence that we may overcome our doubts about Jeremiah's destination. But we have to go the history books. Only one place in the world claims to have the grave of the prophet Jeremiah. Only one country's history tells of an old man, and his scribe Brug bringing a king's daughter from Egypt. Only one country claims the Harp of David for its Arms. Only one country has Jerrys coming out of its ears.

That Country is Ireland.

Although, due to the Bards embellishing the story, accounts of Jeremiah's arrival and work in Ireland differ in some details, however, the basic elements of each tale are the same.

The Stone, known as the "Stone of Destiny" came from Spain, and before that, from Egypt

It came in the company of an aged guardian, who was called "Ollam Folla", (Hebrew for revealer or prophet)

Accompanying the man was an eastern king's daughter Eochaidh (Eremhon) married the daughter, Tea Tephi

The aged guardian became the most influential Statesman and Spiritual leader of Ireland.

Remember the evidence I mentioned, that God would supply us to confirm Jeremiah's trip? The following picture is of an inscription found in a tomb located in Schiabhla-Cailliche, near Oldcastle, County, Meath, Ireland, not far from Tara. Thirty-some stones with strange markings upon them, lie in the sepulchral chamber within the huge cairn of stones which make up the tomb. A large carved stone outside the tomb is still pointed out as Jeremiah's judicial seat. Our confirmation lies on those thirty stones in the cairn.

One interpretation, by George Dansie of Bristol, says the stones show a Lunar Eclipse, in the constellation of Taurus and a conjunction of the planets Saturn and Jupiter in Virgo. The prow of a ship is shown in the center, with five lines indicating the number of passengers it carries. On the left, a part of the ship, perhaps the stern, is shown with only four passengers, one having been left behind, as indicated by the line falling away from the ship. The wavy line indicates the passage of the ship across the ocean, terminating at a central point on an island.

The stellar and planetary alignment of the inscription gives a date of 583 BC. This date allows just the right amount of time for our little band to go to Egypt, and return to Palestine briefly before making their way to Spain, then Ireland.

THE VOYAGE OF THE TRAVELLING TRUSTEE TEA TEPHI

Buried ineradicably in the poetry and folklore of Ireland is the tale of a Prophet, an Egyptian Princess and Simon Brug (Baruch) a Scribe. They Landed in Ireland about the same time that the destruction of Jerusalem took place, bearing with them a great chest and a stone wrapped on a banner. The Princess married the Zarahite King, Eochaidh II. Ard-dath, Ard-righ, or Heremon (horse man of all Ireland), and their son was Irial. I, (M.R. Munro Faure) give quotations from old Irish verse:

The praises of Tea Tephi, daughter of Lughaidh (equivalent in Erse of Bethel) are sung as:

"The Beautiful One with a Royal Prosperous Smile."

"Tephi (Hebrew beautiful) the most beautiful that traversed the Plain."

"Temor of Bregia, whence so called."

Relate to me O learned Sages,

When was the place called Temor?

Was it in the time of Parthalon of battles?

Or at the first arrival of Caesaire?

Tell me in which of these invasions

Did the place have the name of Tea-mor?

O Tuan,

CHAPTER 5

Great Britain and the United States revealed

A most interesting coincidence is the Hebrew meaning of the phonetic sounds of the names of the British people. The House of Israel is the "covenant people." The Hebrew word for "covenant" is (pronounced in current Hebrew) "brit". After Gideon's death, Israel followed the false pagan god Baal. In Judges 8:83 and 9:4, the word "covenant" is used as a proper name coupled with the name "Baal." This is quoted in the English text, Authorized Version, without being translated, as "Baalberith," meaning (margin) "idol of the covenant."

The word for "covenant man," or "covenant people," would therefore sound, in English word order, "Brit-ish" (the word ish means "man" in Hebrew, and it is also an English suffix on nouns and adjectives). And so, is it mere coincidence that the true covenant people today are called the "British"? And they reside in the "British Isles"!

To Abraham, God also said, "In Isaac shall thy seed be called," and this name is repeated in Romans 9:7 and Hebrews 11:18. In Amos 7:16 the Israelites are called "the house of Isaac." The name "Isaac" is the English form of the Hebrew word more exactly transliterated Yishaq. Note how different the Hebrew spelling and pronunciation is from the English. Even stable consonants have dropped out, how much easier for the unstable, semi-vowel 'y' to drop, leaving Shaq or Saac. In fact ancient documents show another Semitic people, the Assyrians, had a habit of dropping the initial 'y' in exactly this way. For instance, they referred to a King Ahab of Israel as A-ha-ab-bu Sir-'i-la-a-a. (See, for example, Pritchard's Ancient Near Eastern Texts Relating to the Old Testament, pp.227-Si.) They dropped the 'yi' of Israel (Yisra'el in Hebrew) in the same way the first syllable of Isaac would be dropped to form Saac. Is it only coincidence that "Saxons" sounds the same as "Saac's sons"-sons of Isaac?

The tribe of Dan originally occupied a strip of coast country on the Mediterranean, west of Jerusalem. "And the coast of the children of Dan," we read in Joshua 19:47, "went out too little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it... and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father." In Judges 18:11-12, it is recorded that Danites took Kirjath-jearim, and "called that place Mahaneh-dan unto this day." A little later the same company of 600 armed Danites came to Laish, captured it, and "they called the name of the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father" (verse 29).

The tribe of Dan occupied two different districts, or provinces, in the Holy Land before the Assyrian captivity. One colony lived on the seacoast. They were principally seamen, and it is recorded Dan abode in ships (Judges. 5:17). When Assyria captured Israel, these Danites struck out in their ships and sailed west through the Mediterranean and, as we shall now note, north to Ireland.

Just before his death, Moses prophesied of Dan: "Dan is a lion's whelp: he shall leap from Bashan" (Deut. 83:22). Some historians see a connection between those Danites and the Danoi in Greece and the Thatha De and Thathe De Danaan of Ireland. Tuatha De means the "people of God." The name Dunn in the Irish language, for example, means the same as Dan in the Hebrew: judge.

But the northern colony of Danites was taken to Assyria in the captivity, and thence with the rest of the Ten Tribes they traveled from Assyria by the overland route. After leaving Assyrian captivity, they first inhabited the land just west of the Black Sea before migrating northwest. And we find in the directions they journeyed a nation, Denmark today, which is named Danmark by its inhabitants, meaning Dan's Borderland or march.

Now briefly let us consider what is found in the ancient annals, legends, and history of Ireland, and we shall have the scene of Jeremiah's "planting" and the present location of "lost" Israel. The real ancient history of Ireland is very extensive, though colored with some legend. But with the facts of biblical history and prophecy in mind, one can sift out the legend from the true history in studying ancient Irish annals. Throwing out that which is obviously legendary, we glean from various histories of Ireland the following: Long prior to 700 B.C. a colony of mixed ancestry called "Tuatha De Danaan', arrived in ships, drove out other tribes, and settled there.

Later, in the days of David, a colony of Milesians, apparently of the line of Zarah, arrived in Ireland from the Near East. Later still, an elderly, white-haired patriarch sometimes referred to as a "saint" came to Ireland. With him was the princess daughter of an eastern king and a companion called "Simon Brach," spelled in different histories as Breck, Berech, Brach, or Berach. The princess was named Tephi or Tea-Tephi.

Modern literature of those who recognize the national identity of the Anglo-Saxons has confused this daughter of Zedekiah, with an earlier Tea, a daughter of Ith, who lived in the days of David. This royal party included the son of the king of Ireland who had been in Jerusalem at the time of the siege. There he had become acquainted with Tea-Tephi. He married her shortly after the city fell. Their young son, now in his late teens accompanied them to Ireland. A descendant of the ancient King Herremon, this young man has usually been confused with his much earlier ancestor Gede the Herremon-who married his uncle Ith's daughter Tea. The son of this later young king and the Hebrew princess continued on the throne of Ireland and this same dynasty continued unbroken through all the kings of Ireland; was overturned and transplanted again in Scotland; again overturned and moved to London, England, where this same dynasty continues today in the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

The crown worn by the kings of the line of Herremon and the other sovereigns of ancient Ireland had twelve points! Besides the royal family, the prophet is thought by some to have brought with them certain remarkable things, including a harp, and a wonderful stone called "lia-fail," or "stone of destiny." A peculiar coincidence is that Hebrew reads from right to left, while English reads from left to right. Read this name either way, and it still is "lia-fail."

Another strange coincidence, or is it just coincidence, is that many kings in the history of Ireland, Scotland, and England have been coronated sitting over a remarkable stone, including the present queen. The stone, until lately, rested in Westminster Abbey in London, and the coronation chair was built over and around it. A sign once labeled it "Jacob's pillow stone" (Genesis 28:18).

In view of the linking together of biblical history, prophecy, and Irish history, can anyone deny that this Hebrew princess was the daughter of King Zedekiah of Judah and therefore heir to the throne of David? That the aged patriarch was in fact Jeremiah, and his companion was Jeremiah's scribe, or secretary, Baruch? That King Herremon was a descendant of Zarah, here married to the daughter of Pharez, healing the ancient breach? That when Jeremiah first overturned the throne of David, it was replanted in Ireland, later overturned a second time and replanted in Scotland, overturned a third time and planted in London? (See my article on Perez and Zerah)

When Christ returns to earth to sit on the throne, he shall take over a live, existing throne, not a nonexistent one. And the British Commonwealth of Nations is the only company of nations in all earth's history. Could we so exactly fulfill the specifications of the birthright, and not be the birthright people? The United States expanded rapidly in national resources and wealth after 1800 and reached world dominance among nations later than the British Commonwealth. It became a giant world power by the end of World War I.

CHAPTER 6

The Lost Tribes of Israel

Chapter 6

Is the United States Manasseh or Ephraim?

There are two different views of this and I will share both of them with you.

First, from the prophet blessings passed on by the dying Jacob, it is apparent that Ephraim and Manasseh were in a large measure to inherit the birthright jointly; to remain together for a long time, finally separating. In Genesis 48 Jacob first passed the birthright on to the two sons of Joseph jointly, speaking of them both together. Then, finally, he spoke of them separately. Manasseh was to become great; Ephraim, greater still, the company of nations. And in his prophecy for these latter days Jacob said, "Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall" (Gen. 49:22). In other words, Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh) jointly and together was to be a colonizing people in this latter day, their colonies branching out from the British Isles around the earth.

Together Ephraim and Manasseh grew into a multitude, and then separated, according to Jacob's prophetic blessing of Genesis 48. It should be noted that certain regions of Britain contributed more heavily to the migration of those who became permanent settlers of the colonies, which later became the United States. For example, a large percentage of Americans of English ancestry when the United States began were from families originating in Norfolk and Suffolk in East Anglia. Evidently the people of this region were somewhat culturally distinct and were more driven to establish their own separate nation across the Atlantic Ocean.

Manasseh was separating from Ephraim! How can we be Manasseh when large parts of our people have come from many nations besides England? The answer is this: A large part of Manasseh remained with Ephraim until the separation of the thirteen colonies. But our forefathers were to be sifted through many nations, as corn through a sieve, yet not a grain to fall to the earth or be lost (Amos 9:9). Our people did filter through many nations.

Ephraim and much of Manasseh finally immigrated to England together, but many others of Manasseh who had filtered into and through other nations did not leave them until they came, as immigrants, to the United States after the colonies had become a separate nation.

During the Scottish English troubles of the 1600's and the early 1700's many thousands of Scots moved by clan groups to European regions from and from there came great numbers of colonists to America. This does not mean that all foreigners who have immigrated into this country are of the stock of Manasseh, but undoubtedly many are. Israel, however, always did absorb Gentiles, who became Israelites through living in Israel's land, adopting its customs and sometimes inter-marrying. Thus we have become known as the "melting pot" of the world.

Instead of refuting the United States Manassehite ancestry, this fact actually confirms it. The proof that we are Manasseh is overwhelming. Manasseh was to separate from Ephraim and become the greatest, wealthiest single nation of earth's history. The United States alone has fulfilled this prophecy. Manasseh was in fact the thirteenth tribe. There were twelve original tribes and Joseph was one of these twelve. But when Joseph divided into two tribes and Manasseh separated into an independent nation, it became a thirteenth tribe. Could it be mere coincidence that it started, as a nation, with thirteen colonies?

But what about the other tribes of the so-called "Lost Ten Tribes"? While the birthright was Joseph's, and its blessings have come to the British Commonwealth of Nations and the United States of America, yet the other eight tribes of Israel were also God's chosen people. They too, have been blessed with a good measure of material prosperity, but not the dominance of the birthright. These northwestern European nations are Holland, Belgium, and Denmark. We lack space for a detailed explanation of the specific identity of all of these other tribes in the nations of our twentieth century. There is evidence that these other eight tribes, along with elements of the tribe of Benjamin, which were swept up in the Assyrian conquest of most of the biblical land of Israel, have migrated into, Iceland, northern France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway and Finland. The political boundaries of Europe, as they exist today, do not necessarily show lines of division between descendants of these original tribes of Israel.

The most remarkable fulfillment of biblical prophecy in modern times was the sudden sprouting forth of the two mightiest world powers, one, a commonwealth of nations forming the greatest world empire of all time; the other, the wealthiest, most powerful nation on earth today. These birthright peoples came, with incredible suddenness, into possession of more than two thirds, nearly three quarters, of the cultivated wealth and resources of the whole world! This sensational spurt from virtual obscurity in so short a time gives incontrovertible proof of divine inspiration. Never, in all history, did anything like it occur. But why did this unprecedented national wealth and power come to our birthright inheritors beginning about A.D.1800? Why did not this national dominance come to the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh ages ago in the days of Moses, or Joshua, or David, or Elijah?

The birthright promise was given to the two tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, not to the other tribes or their descendants. These two birthright tribes were part of the northern Nation of Israel. Notice again the original promise: "A nation and company of nations shall be of thee" (Genesis 35:11).

Remember, in passing on the birthright promise the dying Jacob (Israel) said of Ephraim and Manasseh, sons of Joseph, "...let my name be named on them" (Genesis 48:16). Therefore it is they, the descendants of Ephraim (the British) and Manasseh (Americans) who are primarily referred to in prophecy under the names of Jacob or Israel. Continuing, Jacob added, ..... and let them grow into a multitude." Then, speaking of Manasseh and his descendants alone, Jacob said prophetically: ..... he also shall become a people [nation], and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother [Ephraim] shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude [a company, or commonwealth] of nations" (Genesis 48:19).

In A.D. 1800 the United Kingdom consisted of the British Isles, a small part of India and of Canada and numerous little islands. The United States consisted of the original 13 colonies and three added states plus wilderness territory. Neither possessed great wealth or power, by comparison with later standards. But beginning in 1800 these two little nations began to sprout and to grow into vast national riches and power such as no people ever possessed. Soon Britain's empire spread around the world, until the sun never set upon her possessions.

Canada, Australia, South Africa were given dominion status, made free and independent nations, ruling themselves independent of England, a company, or commonwealth, of nations joined together, solely by the throne of David!

But why was that tremendous birthright, which was promised unconditionally to Abraham, repeated to Isaac and Jacob, never bestowed for millennia of time, until after A.D. 1800? The answer is amazingly exciting! To understand this miraculous burst into world dominance, it is necessary to examine the very pivot of the Old Testament prophecies, the 26th chapter of Leviticus.

In this central prophecy, God reaffirmed the birthright promise but with conditions for the people of Moses' day! The birthright tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh were then with the other tribes, as one nation. Obedience to God's laws would bring the vast national wealth and blessings of the birthright not only to Ephraim and Manasseh, but the whole nation would automatically have shared them at that time. Notice carefully that two of the Ten Commandments are mentioned for emphasis. These were the main test commandments! They were the test of obedience, and of faith in and loyalty to God. God said: "Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image... to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God. Ye shall keep my Sabbaths..." (Verses 1-2).

There was a condition, a great big "if", to their receiving actual fulfillment of this stupendous birthright promise in their time! God said: "If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase..." (verses 3-4). All wealth comes out of the ground.

They would enjoy bumper crops the year round, one harvest on the heels of another. Verse 6: "And I will give peace in the land... and none shall make you afraid... neither shall the sword [of war] go through your land." What a blessing! Which nation enjoys continuous peace, without fear of invasion? Of course, in this world, every nation has enemies. What if enemy nations attacked? Verses 7-8: "And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight....".

IF!

But here comes the alternative, if the conditions are not met: …if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments ... I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague [fever], that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of the heart [RSV: waste the eyes and cause life to pine away]: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you, (verses 14-17). They would be invaded, conquered, become once again slaves, as they had been in Egypt before God freed them.

In the second year after leaving Egypt, God had moved the Israelites to a new camp in the wilderness of Paran (Numbers 10:11-12). Moses sent twelve men, one leader or ruler from each tribe, to spy out the Promised Land and bring back a report on the land and its inhabitants (Numbers 13:1-2). These men were gone 40 days. On their return, all but two, Joshua and Caleb, misrepresented what they had seen, giving an evil report. When Joshua and Caleb reported the truth, the people tried to stone them. They accepted the evil report, complained against God, doubted, rebelled, and disobeyed.

Have you ever wondered why these Israelites were 40 years in the desolate, barren, desert and mountain wilderness getting to the Promised Land? It was not because it required 40 years of travel. These men sent to report on it, journeyed to it, walked all over it from one end to the other and returned, round trip, in 40 days. But the people griped, disbelieved God, disobeyed, and refused to go forthwith to possess it instead of deciding to march ahead and possess this great prize God wanted to give them, they despised it, lacked faith to go in and possess it, refused to march forward.

This Promised Land is a type of the glorious Kingdom of God, which the living Savior, Jesus Christ, offers us. But today we, the descendants of those Israelites, despise it and prefer the slavery of sin, fail to exercise the faith to go on and possess God's Kingdom. We, too, rebel. We are sitting around waiting for Jesus to come back and do our job for us.

To this rebellious people of Moses jurisdiction God said: "Your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness... ye shall not come into the land... save ....... and Joshua... But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised" (Numbers 14:29-31). "And," continued God, "your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcasses be wasted in the wilderness" (verse 83).

And now comes the "day-for-a-year principle": "After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years (verse 34). And this punishment was, in fact, a withholding of the promised blessing for this duration of forty years.

Now continue in Leviticus 26: "And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins" (verse 18). It is important to understand this! "Seven times" is an English expression translated from the Hebrew word sheva', simply meaning the number seven. Usually this word is used as an adjective, for example, "seven cows" or "seven days." However, in Leviticus 26:18, the word sheva' (seven) stands alone-as an adverb-and modifies the verb "punish." Now, when "seven" stands alone as an adverb, it may have either one (or both) of two separate and independent meanings.

The word sheva' can convey the sense of increasing intensity in the action. But sheva' can also refer to the duration, continuance or especially repetition of the action over a period of time. Read Psalm 119:164 "Seven times a day do I praise thee" and Proverbs 24:16 "For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again." The Hebrew for "seven times" in both verses is simply sheva', exactly the same word, used in exactly the same way (as an adverb), as it is in Leviticus 26!

Now, let's understand the "seven times" of Leviticus 26. The context is corrective punishment-punishment for a purpose. Has God many times used the prescription of seven times for the corrective punishment of a person or nation, in a place other than Leviticus 26? For example, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, the greatest world ruler at his time, was punished seven times, literally seven years, for exalting himself above God (Dan. 4:32). The seven times punishment represents seven years of punishment in Leviticus 26 just as in Daniel 4! But there is a difference. Whereas Daniel 4 tells of seven literal years of punishment, which befell a certain individual, Leviticus 26 tells of seven prophetic years, which befell the nation of Israel.

Now understand the "seven times" or seven prophetic "times." For this is a prophecy. In prophecy, as we will later demonstrate, a "time is a prophetic 360-day year. And, during Israel's punishment, each day represented a year being fulfilled. This "day-for-a-year" principle is explained in two other passages dealing with the duration of Israel's punishment. One of these we have already covered. God punished that generation of Israelites Moses had led out of Egypt, by withholding from them entry into the promised land forty years. That promised land was a beginning part of the birthright.

God punished them on the principle of a year for every day, forty years duration of punishment for the 40 days of transgression (Ezekiel 4:6; Numbers 14:34). Now we come to the expression "then I will punish you seven times more for your sins" in Leviticus 26. It is evident both by its manner of wording in the sentence and by the fact of actual fulfillment that it was speaking of a duration of seven prophetic "times," or years-seven 360-day years is a total of 2,520 days. And when each day is a year of punishment in this case, as in Numbers 14:34, which was a withholding of a promised blessing, the punishment becomes the withdrawing and withholding of the promised blessings. On the "day-for-a-year" principle it would be for 2,520 years! And that is precisely what did happen!

But now did you notice we said that a prophetic "time" is a 360 day year? Why not a year of 365¼ days? Why not a solar year? In ancient biblical times, a solar year was figured on basis of twelve 30-day months. Notice Genesis 7:11: "In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened." Now verse 24: "And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days." Next, Genesis 8:3-4: "And the waters returned from off the earth continually and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated. And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat."

So notice-the Flood started on the 17th day of the second month. At the end of 150 days, the ark came to rest on Mount Ararat, on the 17th day of the 7th month. That was five months to the day. Five 30-day months are 150 days. We find it definitely figured this way in both Daniel and Revelation. In Revelation 13:5 a period of 1,260 days being fulfilled in 1,260 solar years (A.D. 554-1814) is spoken of as "forty and two months."

Now 42 calendar months, according to the calendar now in use, would not be 1,260 days, but 1,277 days or if no leap year occurred, 1,276. Or, if the extra half-year happened to be the last half of the year, it would be 1,278,1,279 or 1,280 days. So the 42 months were 30-day months. In Revelation 12:6, a prophecy of an event which in actual history did last 1,260 solar years (A.D. 325-1585) is spoken of as "a thousand two hundred and threescore days."

So here, again, we see that a prophetic day was a year in fulfillment. The 42 months mentioned in Revelation 13:5 is the same amount of time (referring to a different event but the same amount of time) as the 1,260 days mentioned in Revelation 12:6. The same amount of days is spoken of in still different language in Revelation 12:14. Here it is described as "a time, and times, and half a time." By comparing Daniel 9:27 and 12:7 with this verse, we learn that a "time" is one prophetic year; the "times," two more prophetic years; and the whole expression is 3½ prophetic "times," which is a literal 1,260 days-or 3½ years of thirty day months. Seven of these "times" then would be 2,520 days-and on a day-for-a-year basis, 2,520 years! These "seven times" bring us to the year A.D. 1800.

Read again the prophetic promises of Genesis 22:17', and 24:60. Since the birthright pertains to nations, the "gate" of other people would be such passes as Gibraltar, Suez, Singapore, Panama Canal, etc. Britain and America came into possession of every such major "gate" in this world! So we must be modern Israel. World War II hinged on these "gates." They became not only strategic passes, but also the world's greatest fortifications.

Notice Genesis 39:3-23: "The Lord was with Joseph, and he was prosperous .... . The Lord was with him, and that which he did the Lord made to prosper." And God has continued to be with, and to prosper Joseph.

Consider now Moses' dying prophetic blessing, foretelling what would happen to each of the tribes in these latter days. "And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the Lord be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that croucheth beneath, and for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon, and for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills, and for the precious things of the earth and the fullness thereof... let the blessings come upon the head of Joseph [Ephraim and Manasseh both] ... His glory is like the firstling [firstborn-birthright holder] of the bullock, and his horns are like the horns of Unicorns [Great Britain's national seal today]: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh" (Deuteronomy 33:13-17).

Whoever is Ephraim and Manasseh today must be in possession of the earth's choicest agricultural, mineral, and other wealth-the great gold and silver mines; iron, oil, and coal, timber and other resources. Which nations fulfill these prophecies? Why, only Great Britain and America! At one time more than half of all tillable, cultivable temperate zone lands of this earth were in the possession of these two great powers alone! The rich agricultural lands of the Mississippi Valley; the vast wheat and grain fields of the Northwest, of Canada and Australia; the great forest lands of the Pacific Northwest and many other parts of the world; the gold fields of South Africa, Australia, Alaska and the United States; the great coal mines of the United States and British Isles; the natural waterfalls and means of power and motivation, and consequent prosperous industrial and manufacturing districts of England and the eastern United States; the choicest fruit lands of the Pacific Coast and Florida. What other nations combined ever possessed such material wealth? And nearly all this incredible wealth has come since AD.1800!

Just to what extent has Almighty God fulfilled his promises to the descendants of Joseph in these latter years since 1800 A.D. promises of "the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, ... the chief things of the ancient mountains, ... and the precious things of the earth"? Said Charles M. Schwab, steel magnate, before the Massachusetts Bankers Association, : "Our United States has been endowed by God with everything to make it and keep it the foremost industrial and commercial nation of the world."

Although the birthright has come to the British Commonwealth and the United States, yet the other tribes share in the blessings. Next in order in per capita income were Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway while most Gentile nations have from one tenth to one fiftieth the income! Now how did they come into possession of all this vast wealth of the earth? Did they acquire it through their own human wisdom, foresight, energy, ability and power? Let United States President Abraham Lincoln answer this :

"We find ourselves," he said, "in the peaceful possession of the fairest portion of the earth, as regards to fertility of soil, extent of territory, and salutary of climate... We ... find ourselves the legal inheritors of these fundamental blessings. We toiled not in the acquirement or the establishment of them." Again, in his proclamation of April 30, 1863, for a Nation-wide day of fasting and prayer, this great president said: "It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God... and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord. We have been the recipients of the choicest blessings of heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power as no other nation ever has grown; but we have forgotten God! We have forgotten the gracious Hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own."

Abraham Lincoln knew these great material blessings had not been earned, but had been given to the people by the God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel. And the nations should face the facts today and know that the United States and the British peoples have been given all this vast unprecedented material wealth because God promised it, unconditionally, to Abraham. And he promised it to Abraham because Abraham obeyed God, kept God's laws and commandments. The birthright blessing was denied the forefathers after Moses' day because they refused to live by the laws of Almighty God.

And today God warns Britain and the United States, through many prophecies in the books of Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Micah, and numerous others whose writings are preserved in the Bible that unless the people of this generation repent of there sins and turn to him with fasting and with weeping and earnest prayer, he 'will destroy their cities, all their fortresses, by the hand of the foreign sword; that he will punish them at the hand of a cruel one; that the people shall be invaded, defeated, reduced to slaves! God help these nations to heed that warning and wake up in time!

Secondly, reasons to consider that the United States makes up the modern nation of Ephraim .

Ephraim was to vastly out-number Manasseh (Deut.33:17), ten to one. The population of the USA is 280 million, compared to England's 60 million and Canada's 28 million. The USA is the "YOUNGER" nation to rise; England is like an OLDER brother, though both dwelled together for many centuries. Of course, Ephraim was the younger brother. It only makes sense that the younger would raise up later than the older brother. Of course, when Ephraim was "fully grown," he excelled his older brother, even as the USA has excelled England, and has grown much greater. Many nobility also came to the USA. Our presidents have virtually ALL had links with English royalty; and our leading entrepreneurs, the Abbots, Astors, Carnegies, Rockefellers, Mellons, etc., have family lies that go way back. Ephraim was to become a people who drank too much WINE (Isa.28:1). Wine is produced in abundance in the US, California, Oregon, etc. The British are not known as wine-bibbers, but their drink of choice is BEER -- a completely different beverage. This again points to the US being Ephraim, in the majority. Ephraim was to posses the greatest natural resources and beauty -- including "verdant valleys" (Isa.28:1). The US is the most fertile nation in the world, called he "breadbasket" of the world. Our valleys like the Shenandoah, the Piedmont, the Central Valley of California, the Willamette Valley of Oregon, are world famous -- we are a nation of awesome valleys, agricultural fruitfulness, and abundance (Deut.33:13-16).

Ephraim and Manasseh together have "pushed the peoples to the ends of the earth" (Deut.33:17),

"In majesty he is like a firstborn bull;

his horns are the horns of a wild ox.

With them he will gore the nations,

even those at the ends of the earth.

Such are the ten thousands of Ephraim;

such are the thousands of Manasseh."

Manasseh is like a firstborn (which he was literally) bull, and the bull is a symbol of England. Ephraim is more like the "wild ox" of this verse-- younger, wilder, less settled -- you've heard of the "Wild West," and the "wild American," like many younger brothers, we tend to be a little on the "wild side," and therefore many Europeans look on us with a little distrust, consternation, and even bewilderment.

Ephraim's very name literally means "doubly fruitful." Well, look at the evidence! The US has been VERY fruitful during the 20th century -- abundantly so. Joseph is a fruitful bough (Gen.49:22), so Manasseh is also fruitful -- but Ephraim (USA) doubly so! So it should be: Ephraim was given the BLESSING of the firstborn (Gen.48:13-14), even though Manasseh was the actual firstborn. The firstborn historically was to inherit a DOUBLE PORTION. So it falls to reason that Ephraim -- the USA -- should have a double portion of blessings, which we certainly do -- geographically, agriculturally, economically, militarily, population-wise, etc. It is said that if America catches cold, the whole world sneezes.

Jacob said Manasseh also would be great -- England and Canada, etc. But he said "truly his YOUNGER brother shall be GREATER than he, and his descendants shall become a MULTITUDE OF NATIONS [I.E., "STATES"]" (Gen.48:19). Many have misunderstood this. In Hebrew, the word for "nations" here is goyim, and means "peoples, nations, states, a troop, a flight," a word that has the sense of "massing." Thus Jacob really said the descendants of Ephraim would become a TROOP of people, a MASS of people, MANY states, families, or groupings. Thus we have in fulfillment of this prophecy THE FIFTY STATES of the United States -- we became 50 different states, UNITED, but ONE PEOPLE. Each state has its own constitution and government. At its greatest, the British Empire or Commonwealth did control vast parts of the earth, when you include India, but these were GENTILE nations under British rule -- they were not Josephite people at all. The blessing of Jacob was not that Ephraim would rule over many nations, per se -- it was that Ephraim would reproduce and BECOME a multitude or troop or massing of people -- by having a greater multitude of descendants, becoming many groupings -- i.e., fifty United STATES!

Ephraim always was distrustful of royalty, particularly of the house of David. Jereboam, an Ephraimite, led the rebellion against the house of David. On the other hand, many Manassites were among the first men to join up with David, when he was estranged from king Saul. These same characteristics are seen in the two brothers today. English royalty can be traced back to the line of David, thus David still has descendants sitting on a throne, fulfilling in part God's promise to him (Psalm 89:20, 29-37). So it is that England/Manasseh still has an affinity for David and his throne dwells among them; USA/Ephraim, however, still has a distrust of all things royal, and George Washington refused to be made a "king." Thus we have elected "presidents" as apposed to a Davidic "king" reigning over us.

Geographically, in ancient Israel, the house of Manasseh was divided, separated into East Manasseh and West Manasseh, with the Jordan River the dividing line. West Manasseh stretched to the Mediterranean Sea. Ephraim was south of Manasseh, stretching from the Jordan to the Mediterranean. Today, we have the same juxtaposition of the two tribes. Manasseh is once again in the north -- West Manasseh is Canada, north of the US, with both of them stretching from the Atlantic to the Pacific Oceans; and East Manasseh is England, lying EAST of the Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantic, like the ancient Jordan River, divides East and West Manasseh.

Ephraim was prophesied to become "joined to idols" (Hos.4:17). Idols abound in modern USA -- Hollywood stars, rock music stars, sports stars, automobiles, and physical things of every description. We are a nation of idolaters, as Ephraim was prophesied to become. "Harlotry" is so rampant it is another sign of Ephraim -- we are the pornography capital of the world -- the San Fernando Valley in California, just west of "Hollywood" (verse 18). Bribery of government officials is rampant -- only they call it 'political contributions" (verse 18). Ephraim was to be "broken in judgment" (Hos.5:11). American courts of justice are a travesty: witness the O.J. Simpson trial, the trial of the police who arrested Rodney King, the ridiculous sham of the Florida Supreme Court wanting to count "chads," "dimpled chads," "hanging chads," "pregnant chads," etc., etc. America truly fits the end-time description of Ephraim.

Ephraim was to be a "mixed" people. God said "Ephraim has MIXED himself among the peoples; Ephraim is a cake unturned [burnt on one side, white on the other]. Aliens have devoured his strength, but he does not know it" (Hos.7:8-9). America, the USA, is the "melting pot of the world." We have mixed ourselves with Gentiles more than any other nation. Europeans tend to be xenophobic, like Japan; racial mixing is frowned upon, and foreign laborers are distrusted and persecuted. Whereas in America, we welcome foreigners of every description -- blacks from Africa, Europeans, Chinese immigrants who helped build our intercontinental railroads, and Vietnamese, Cuban refugees, and of course many people from Central America, not to mention millions of Mexicans, both legal and illegal, without our borders. Truly we fulfill this prophecy of being "mixed" -- more so than any other nation! Plus the fact that "aliens" in our midst are devouring our strength, getting free education, medical benefits, and bringing their own polluting customs and practices. I could go on and on. But just two more "proofs" that the US is predominately EPHRAIM.

Ephraim was the 13th tribe. He was born last, of the tribe heads, born to Joseph in Egypt, after Manasseh, the 12th tribe. The US flag has 13 stripes, the US originally had 13 colonies, in the US seal we find 13 stars above an eagle [symbol of the "king of the air," or airpower], also 13 arrows clutched in his left claw, and an olive branch with 13 leaves in its right claw, with a shield of 13 red and white stripes. The number 13 is associated with Ephraim AND with America!

The northern tribes of Israel were taken into captivity by Assyria in 718-721 B.C. God foretold Israel would be punished for "seven times" (Lev.26:18, etc.; see also Dan.4:23). Prophetically, a "time" can equal a "year" in fulfillment (Num.14:34; Ezek.6:4-5). A perfect "prophetic year" is 360 days; each day is a year in fulfillment. This apparently is based on the original year, as it was in the days of Noah. Noah was in the ark from the 17th day of the second month till the 17th day of the seventh month -- a total of 150 days (see Gen.7:11-13; 7:24l 8:3-4). Thus five months equaled 150 days -- or 30 days per month. Obviously, Noah was not using the modern Jewish calendar! If we extrapolate, then a year of 12/30 day months would equal 360 days. Therefore, Israel's punishment was 360 X 7 = 2520 years in fulfillment. If we count 2520 years from 718-721, we come to A.D. 1800-1803. At that time the punishment would be terminated, and God would begin to BLESS the tribes with their intended blessings -- the blessings He gave to Abraham, Isaac, and Israel -- and the tribal fathers, including Joseph.

What happened in 1803 in the world that was of any prophetic significance? What great blessing occurred in that year? Who received it? In 1803 Thomas Jefferson, the third US president, purchased the Louisiana Purchase from Napoleon of France -- all the land stretching from the Mississippi River to the Pacific Ocean. This vast tract was bought for pennies to the acre. The Lewis and Clark Expedition traversed this huge tract, finally arriving on the Pacific Coast, at the mouth of the Columbia River. Never in history has a nation expanded so quickly, so vastly, and for so little. The birthright promises were to accrue to Ephraim -- and this was a mighty geographical extension of the United States of Ephraim!

I may not have all the answers to the mysteries of the Ten Lost Tribes but I think you will have to agree with me that this is a very interesting subject. I will let you decide which tribe you believe the United States is. I believe the United States is Ephraim. Can’t you see from what is happening today among the European nations, the continual jalousies of the other tribes? The half brothers of Joseph have always fought. France and Germany never want to go along with Britain and the United States.

CHAPTER 7

The Great Seal of The United States

Most of the symbols used by the tribes of Jacob's descendents are derived from the blessings and prophecies that were given to his sons in Genesis 49. For instance, the Wolf is the primary symbol of the tribe of Benjamin (verse 27, "Benjamin shall raven,["eat voraciously"] as a wolf). Reuben's two symbols are a Man and Water. Judah's symbols are a single Lion and three Lions respectively. These may be resting or rampant. Although Joseph's two sons Ephraim and Manasseh are not listed, we know from other sources that Ephraim and Manasseh each had two symbols. Ephraim used the Ox primarily and the Unicorn was his secondary symbol.

Manasseh's primary symbol is an Olive Branch, while his second symbol is a Bundle of Arrows. It must be remembered that Manasseh is the thirteenth tribe. Ephraim moved into Joseph's place and Manasseh was added to the twelve. If one gives the briefest look at the arms of England, it will be seen to contain a shield with a rampant Lion on the left and a Unicorn on the right. Other symbols such as David's Harp are included within the shield.

The United States, being founded as a permanent home by the Pilgrim's (of the tribe of Manasseh), should reflect the emblems of that tribe. It will be found that the Great Seal of the United States contains ten features of thirteen. And given that some sixteen drafts, over a time period of 159 years through which the seal was constructed makes coincidence impossible as an explanation for those 13's. I know that the easy answer to the fact of all these thirteens is that there were thirteen original colonies, but this surface explanation doesn't fit all the evidence. When the facts of the United States and the Great Seal are viewed in the context of the whole Lost Tribes teaching, it obviously fits like it belonged.

The "coincidence" of there being thirteen colonies doesn't add a whit to the total picture unless it is taken to be part of the LT material. Finally in 1935 the final die was cut for the seal that we see on the one dollar bill today. The obverse, or front, side of the Seal as proposed by Thomas Jefferson was to show the Israelites being led by the Pillar of Cloud and of Fire. Benjamin Franklin suggested the event of Pharaoh's drowning in the Red Sea. The Harp of David was included in three early designs, while the number of olives and leaves did not settle to thirteen each until late in the nineteenth century. Although Congress had appropriated the funds (1884) for the "obverse and reverse of the seal of the United States", the Reverse Seal was not cut. Five times the "acts of Congress" relating to the Reverse Seal were ignored; 1782, 1789, 1833, 1884, and 1902. It took 153 years for the complete process! E. Raymond Capt, in his booklet, "Our Great Seal" says: The Great Seal given to our country, after years of laborious heraldic and symbolic study, reveals our true national origin and destiny.

The Obverse face is Israel in the Old Testament; The Reverse face is our race under the New Covenant. Each face is a masterly harmony of all that is potent in symbolism and prophecy. It was originated and adopted by men who recognized the overshadowing presence of the Great Architect of the Universe and submission to His will as revealed in the Scriptures and the Laws of Nature. They planned a government in conformity to His great Plan. They recognized that America's greatest task was to go toward the goal of the Plan -- the eventual establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth.

Their hands were guided by another, for seemingly they did not fully know themselves to be of the Tribe of Manasseh. ("Blindness in part is happened to Israel" - - Romans 11:25). Yet, wittingly or unwittingly, they used all the national emblems of ancient Israel as America's emblems also. Our Obverse Seal sums up the whole of the Old World history of Israel, whose boundaries were set at the very beginning according to the number of the sons of Jacob, and the Lord as an "Eagle" was his express guardian and "Shield." Unsealed "Truth," borne by the Eagle's beak illuminated the way of the "people saved by the Lord." The blessings and the curses were plainly set before them in the "Olive-Branch" and the "Bundle of Arrows."

The Constellation of Stars, signifies perpetual endurance. The Almight God himself swore by them as such. (Daniel 12:3)Isn't it interesting that there is a most definite connection between God's People and the Great Pyramid of Giza?

CHAPTER 8

The Lost Tribes of Israel

Chapter 8

An Amazing Connection Between England and Jesus

The ties between Jesus and England are many. God has been "grooming" England all through history. From the arrival of Brutus in 1103 BC, Jeremiah in Ireland in 583 BC, the Druid (Hebrew) Priests, the Megalith Builders of prehistory, and the endless waves of Celts and Scythians that migrated to that area, I think we can conclude that England has a part in God's plan.

In another place, I'll be offering evidence of the family ties of the British Royalty to the Roman Royalty. The story reads like a Payton Place of History. Inter-marriages and intrigue. Love and War. Good and Evil. It's all there. Why did the Roman Emperor end centuries of Christian persecution, and declare Christianity the religion of the state? Constantine the Great, was born and raised in England and was half English, on his mother's side.

Joseph of Arimathea was Mary, the mother of Jesus, uncle. He was Jesus' great-uncle and guardian after Joseph the carpenter died; somewhat early in Jesus' life. Not only is this connection to Jesus' family wonderful. See just who it was that made up that family. Looking at it humorously, Joseph of Arimathea's daughter married an earthly king and his sisters married God. Anna, married King Beli, and produced the lines of Queen Elizabeth, King Arthur, and the Royal family of the Roman church. Ann, one of Joseph's sisters who became the Great Matriarch of Jesus immediate family, was great-grandmother to "half" the Apostles! ! ! AND Bianca his other sister became grandmother to BOTH Jesus and John the Baptist. No wonder he jumped inside Elisabeth's womb. His cousin, the Messiah, had come to visit.

The Order of the Tribes Of Israel

By Rabbi Dr. Hillel ben David (Greg Killian)

My Comment

First of all, I do not follow the believes of H W Armstrong. It has been proven that he used and copied the works of J H Allen , and then altered and used it for his own ends. I believe that he had so tainted the issue of the Lost 10 Tribes that very few Christian today will even consider the real truth, that many of us are in fact descendents of the Lost Tribes of Israel

I definitely DO NOT believe in replacement theology, never have, and never will. Israel as a whole are God's chosen people. America and Great Britain are part of the 10 lost Tribes and did not replace the Nation of Israel but are themselves brothers to Israel and the House of Judah.

The Ten Lost Tribes of Israel - Where They Went

What They Are Now Called ...

Research of Joseph Dumond - VIDEO 5/15/2015

Yehshua sent His 12 Apostles to go to the Lost sheep of the House of Israel and to them alone. Where did they go and to whom did the Apostles preach? In this teaching we are about to show you what the nations of the world, the victors who were the overlords over the Ten Tribes in captivity, called the nation of Israel. We will walk you through each generation showing you the documentation from historical records what they were called and then show you where they migrated to and when. You’re about to learn that the Bible is your Family history and not some religious book about

other people.
